SO MUCH FOR ONE A DAY!!!

so yeah i said at the start of the year i was going to do a blog a day
that went down the pan
but yeah just a massive update really
my last update i was only on my second gig
im a bit further on than that now
and luckily got quite a few coming over summer
and maybe even a festival or two, but there still in talks with organisers
and i have actually been told not to tell anything about them
but shush
:D

next thing yeah i finish college tomoz forever
then off to uni in september hopefully
up north to sunderland
when tbh i actually want to be down in london or brighton
but 3 years after i finish my course, im going to get myself a nice little 2 bedroom place in brighton, i can see it now

then up to london, then ill get old and settle in the countryside

i have been writing loads of new songs
all my best stuff is my new stuff
i mean like i have SO MUCH
here are a few influences for it...lights and sounds, klaus says buy the record, tonight is goodbye and the maple state and a bit of sam isaac
so mixed vibe, some of its really upbeat some of its quite slow and deep
but i really fucking love it

still need to luck for a good studio to record it at it
and you bitches, not really, but yeah you need to buy it
so im not in more debt at uni

so last night...

i played my first performance, hate to say gig as it was only 2 songs, but was amazing, there was about 300 people there, and it all seems a bit of a blur to me now, but i rememebr clapping so yeah, went well
i got told i could do 10 mins instead of 2 songs so i thought ok throw in another song in the middle of the 3 then after the 2nd got told TO GET off
gutted
but nevermind
i wasnt nervous at all either, not before or during, was great
:)
i was with happy with the way it went, sound needed turning up but meh

tomoz night playing 4-5 songs at the jolly brewer at lincoln, its free and starts at 9pm
you should come along

it's all happening...

i like what is happening with my music atm
i seem to be no stop writing loads of great songs, in my opinion, this time 2 months ago noone had ever heard me song and play guitar at the same time apart from callum, lol
and now i am, having my artwork for my first e.p ready, the date booked in, 15+ songs written, a few gigs lined up and people commenting on how they like my music, endless myspace plays a day, its all manic...it makes me happy

i am making a cd on the 22nd march
it will be out start of april

i will have more dates from hear onwards

2 on my myspace player currently, but with 2 guitar parts and drums, cos i is gunna propa produce a record

well i havent been here for a while so ill update you, ive sorted my studio recording time out, i'm doing it at the end of march so the e.p should be out around start of april...it will £2 with free p&p from myspace/internet, whatevs, £1.50 off me in person and £1 from gigs.
so yeah thats the plan and its still called out of enemies, it is going to have 4 tracks on it, i am recording 5 tracks in the studio but 1 will just be there for summets else, like a re-release or idk yet!
but yeah another day and katie will both be on the e.p and 2 unheard songs, its all exciting

i have been writing loads of new songs lately, all very different and i am loving it, with my first gig just around the corner now at the start of feb, im starting to get VERY excited about it all

erm ive been offered gigs everywhere tbh, but its just getting there, and im worried about noone coming to see me, as im not very broadly known "yet" lol but yeah ive turned down gigs in coventry, lark in the park at london, wales, its crazy but...from easter onwards i am up for venturing further than lincolnshire

i got my ds finally today, only just and not even the color i wanted but im not complaing, everywhere been out of stock for like 6 weeks now...its not fun

err and klaus says buy the record's new l.p is out tomoz, from what i have heard its amazing, his first record was genius, so go to his myspace from my top friends and buy it
honestly it will be worth it!

i woke up this morning to get my lightspeed champion album and a letter from sunderland
both were good news
the album has been on repeat since 10 this morning, it really is amazing
cant wait to drive to and from college tomoz, music sounds better while driving

can i keep this up?

can i?
keep these blogs been written everyday, i know in a week or two, it'll start going down hill with everything in life buy y'know!

so last night i watched this thing about eating to save your life, it was really interesting and made me think about the crap i eat, and i decided im going to eat like an apple a day as i dont eat many fruits and i dont eat any vegetables, and cut down the junk and fast food i eat. fair
ok!
then i watched castaway, one of my favourite tom hanks (my favourite actor) movies, the story line is so great for a film with a film with not much dialogue, and it reminds me of i am legend in the sort of sense that its based around one character, but i find that in i am legend, i was getting bored because of the one character story line, but in castaway your always watching and eyes are always open, cos stuff is always happening, and unlike will smith has a dog, tom hanks has wilson, its genius, it really is!
so yeah, i found myself never using fullstops as i dont know where put them sorry

erm today i went to college
FUN
it dragged onto much, interesting convo's about wind turbines were going and energy resources and us all dying, so yeah, i can never get in the right frame of mind to be in the conversations though, its cos im small, and have a small voice, well kind of :/ but im a loud character so by drawing a wind turbine and turning it into a big fan for wheelchair bound people on the white board i found myself attracting attention!
i also rang the keelogs hotline this morning, saying how much i like teh rice crispie bars, i saved it on my phone, its genius

erm yeah, then this afternoon we fucked about with imperial mints that matt brought, i have never seen so many mints on the floor at once, think about all the africans yeah

came home, went to get skins tickets at 17:07, 7 minutes after 5 when they were released and they had already gone

so WOW

this time in 9 months i should be at uni, not at home anymore, how exciting, i just fear that no uni's will get back to me

as i HAD too kind of as i have a interview for currys on saturday, so i have to look my best so by having 2 hairs off my head, cos thats all it looks like, i will achieve that

erm also this morning, i woke up to my mum asking if id bought anything
which i had, but i said hm dont think so, as she dont know about the guitar i bought

but yeah i had to go to post office to pay an extra £1.06 onto a little packet which my klaus says buy the record cd in, which is a month late, and i wasnt happy
but i have the cd now and the nice people at riddlestone put in 3 "i love good books" badges in too, for my troubles
so its not all bad

now i have to listen through the gorrilaz first album as im sure one of the songs on there will go great as background music for my animation at college called "buff cat barry" he is a weightlifitng cat
but seriously the first gorrilaz album, the one with them in a car on the front, is amazing, appreciated more at this time than it was when they first came out, well i got the cd in year 2000, along time of go
get it off ebay for a quid or summets, you wont regret it!

what a story!

thats right its day 2 of this blog, im not sure of how many of you read it, if that makes sense, if you do read, go to my myspace and send me a message or comment saying if you do

erm yeah so yesterday i got an astonishing 200 plays in like less than 12 hours, which made me go like this :D, honest!

erm now i have done my morning at college, doing a questionnaire of some great sort, now i am at home, today i have played zelda, ran through my set (OHYEAH lol) and drove to tescos to pick up some milk and put £20 in my tank, petrol gets sucked up soooo fast, its as if some knobhead in the night comes and puts a hairdryer againt my car and evaoprotes it or drinks it all up,
